I'm building YoAmigo Studio because the web deserves a real production tool. Something you actually want to open every day.
I've been building software professionally for over 10 years, in security first startups and large technology companies. I'm pouring my heart into this one.
The Origin
I'm a Builder
In 7th grade I was making games. After that it was robotics, Arduinos, a human-sized trebuchet, propane potato cannons. I just love to challenge myself building things.
That eventually led me to software, where I fell in love with design and user experience. I wanted every interaction to feel right. The problem is, most enterprise companies don't care about the craft. I do. I care deeply about the details that most people skip over.
YoAmigo has been months of experimentation, and I finally feel like I'm on the right trajectory. I'd love for others to join me and help shape where this goes.
The Problem
Their Incentives Are All Wrong
Most web builders are designed to make you pay more for credits. Their incentive isn't to give you the best product. It's to keep you on their platform, hitting limits, upgrading plans.
I don't think all of them have the best interest of their users in mind. The business model is built around friction, not around helping you build what you want in the most efficient way possible.
I want the opposite. I want you to spend the least amount of time messing with stuff and the most time on the things you actually love. And when you do use YoAmigo Studio, I want that time to feel amazing.
The Vision
The Web Production Studio
Musicians have Ableton Live and FL Studio. Filmmakers have DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro. Developers have IDEs. These are industry standard production tools that feel incredible to use and let professionals do their best work.
That's what I'm building for the web. YoAmigo Studio is a web production studio. A place where you can build apps, deploy them, manage customer apps, and build enterprise-level applications. You can build your entire business around it.
I'm not taking the easy way out. If there's something that gives the user experience even a 10% boost, I'm doing it, even if it's the really hard thing to build. This is about giving people the best tool possible.
